How To Use the Film

  • Show the film at a community center, religious organization homelessness event or corporate event to encourage empathy in adults and/or children in your community.

  • Pair the program with a service-learning project like assembling hygiene kits or making lunches for individuals experiencing homelessness. When we come together as a group we can create change and have a positive impact on others.

  • Add the film and service activity to your company's events calendar or work retreat. It's a powerful way to combat negative stereotypes about homelessness and empower people of all ages to rethink their perspective.

  • Utilize the toolkit and use Play Date as a jumping off point to form new bonds and engage with your employees and community.
